Internet Movie Database (IMDb) has come out with the list of the top 10 Indian film releases this year so far. The criteria of the data used by IMDb are based on page views of users in India. The official Instagram handle of IMDb shared “We’re a little too excited to see what the rest of the year has in store. Presenting the Most Popular Indian Films of 2022 (So Far!). How many have you already watched from this list? #IMDbMostPopular.

They continued “This list consists of all the titles released theatrically or digitally in India between January 1 and July 5th, 2022 that have an average IMDb user rating of 7 or higher. These titles generated the most IMDb page views in India within a four-week post-release window, based on IMDbPro data”.

The top position was conquered by the superhit ‘The Kashmir Files’, which was written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Followed by ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, ‘RRR’, and more. Check out the complete list below.

1. The Kashmir Files with 8.3 ratings.

2. KGF: Chapter 2 with 8.5 ratings.  

3. RRR with 8.0 ratings.

4. Gangubai Khathiawadi with 7.0 ratings.

5. Vikram with 8.8 ratings (Highest rated)

6. Jhund with 7.4 ratings.

7. Samrat Prithviraj with 7.2 ratings.

8. Runway 34 with 7.2 ratings.
