After the humongous success of his latest movie ‘Pushpa’, Telugu actor Allu Arjun is eyeing Bollywood.

One of the biggest successful Indian films of this year has been the Telugu-language movie, ‘Pushpa: The Rise”. This blockbuster was dubbed in various Indian languages and it emerged as a success, especially in the northern belt. The titular character was played by none other than the southern sensation, Allu Arjun. Known for his snappy dance moves and stylish persona, the Tollywood star, Allu Arjun has amassed a huge fan base.

In a recent interview with India Today, the ‘Buttabomma’ star talked about his interest in Hindi movies. The actor said, “Acting in Hindi is a little out of my comfort zone for now, but once there is a requirement, I’ll go all-out”.

When talking about the type of role that he would prefer, the Tollywood star clarified that “When we are the protagonist of the films that we do, anybody who comes to us will only come with the offer to play a protagonist, I would not be interested in anything (else). And it is very well understood”. He continued “Even the other person will not come and it doesn’t make sense to ask such a big star to play a second role as it damages the film, they also know it. You have to work as a protagonist, as a main lead”.

Allu Arjun will next be seen in the second part of the movie titled “Pushpa 2: The Rule”. Although the cast of the film has not been finalized, it has been rumored that he will star along with Rashmika Mandana, and Fahadh Faasil.
