Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Ms. Marvel’ character “Waleed” has finally made an appearance in episode 4 of the Disney+Hotstar series.

In the latest episode of ‘Ms. Marvel’ titled ‘Seeing Red’, Bollywood actor and director, Farhan Akhtar has finally made his long-awaited entry. He plays the role of Waleed, who is a leader of the organization named Red Daggers. It is a group of vigilantes who wear red bandanas and use throwing knives. The ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ actor shared that he was glad to be a part of a Marvel series that had a first-ever Muslim superhero.

Even though his character had a shorter screen time, he received a lot of praise and attention. Waleed is killed after a few scenes into the series but his ultimate fate is still undecided. Talking about the possibilities, the actor shared with IndiaToday that “I am not allowed to answer it!” He also added that “People have been invested in the show. For us, it is really exciting because it is culturally representing us. It makes it very special. And that was the most exciting part for me being involved with the show”. 

Talking about his character’s departure, the actor expresses that “People must enjoy the show and they should enjoy Kamala’s journey. I think that’s what’s important”. While sharing his experience with Marvel, the actor stated that “I consider myself lucky to have been part of the very first one that has been created from the Marvel universe. There is such a buzz about the show. There is so much love coming in for the character of Kamala”.
