Kapil Sharma Reveals That He Once Auditioned For 'Indian Idol' But Was Rejected, Said- Destination Had Some Other Plans

Kapil Sharma revealed about his rejection from the singing audition:
Reality show and Bollywood breaking news of today: The new season of Colors' popular comedy reality show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' has premiered with all its new episodes. Recently, the judge, contestants and host of 'Indian Idol' season-13 appeared on the show as a guest. During the episode, Kapil Sharma, the host of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' has revealed that once his singing audition was rejected. Well, Kapil is known for his comedy and acting, but apart from being a comedy and actor, he is also a good singer. Kapil Sharma has also been seen singing in front of the guests several times on the show and has also received positive responses from them.

On 02 October 2022 Sunday, Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani and Aditya Narayan appeared as guests in 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. Apart from them, a few contestants of the 'Indian Idol' Vineet Singh, Rishi Singh, Navdeep Vadali, and Sanchari Sengupta were also seen in the show. While conversations with the team Kapil Sharma said that, “have given ‘Indian Idol’ auditions during one of the seasons. The auditions took place in Amritsar and I was not selected. Then there was this ‘Indian Idol’ copy ‘Awaz Punjab Di’ in our area where I was selected”. Then he also added, “During that very time, I also got selected for The Laughter Challenge. However, I had self-analysed and made a decision and I finally chose ‘The Laughter Challenge’.” Lastly, he ended by saying, “Honestly, I used to give auditions in all kinds of shows with the simple motivation that ‘kahin na kahin toh ghuss hi jaunga'. But I am extremely delighted to see how Indian Idol judges are here as the guests of our show”.

Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma is also gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Zwigato’. The film 'Zwigato' starrer Kapil, Shahana Goswami and Tushar Acharya is directed by Nandita Das. The film is based on the struggle of a delivery boy who lost his job during Covid-19.
