Jaya Bachchan often makes headlines for her anger and straightforward nature. Her cold attitude toward the paparazzi has always drawn attention. Recently, during a conversation, the veteran actress was asked about her relationship with the paparazzi. Calling it “strange,” she strongly criticized the paparazzi for making harsh comments about celebrities. She also took a dig at today’s generation of celebs who, according to her, actively encourage the paparazzi culture.

“Wearing dirty tight pants, holding a phone in their hand…”

In a recent conversation with Mojo Story, Jaya Bachchan said, “My relationship with the media is very good. I am a product of the media, but I have absolutely no relationship with the paparazzi.”
She added, “Who are these people? Are they trained to represent the people of this country? You call them media? I come from the media. My father was a journalist, and I have great respect for people like him. But these people standing outside, wearing drain-pipe tight dirty pants and holding a mobile phone… they think just because they have a phone in their hand, they can take your picture?”

“I don’t care… I really don’t”

Jaya didn’t hold back and sharply criticized the behavior of the paparazzi. She said, “What kind of comments do these people make… What kind of people are they? Where do they come from? What is their education? What is their background? And these are the people who will represent us? Just because they can create a space for themselves on YouTube or any social media platform?”

Talking about being one of the most hated celebrities on social media, Jaya added, “I don’t care. I really don’t. You hate me — that’s your opinion, you have that right. My opinion is that I dislike you because you behave like a rat that enters someone’s house with a mobile camera.”
