Govinda Hospitalised: Fans Concerned About the Actor’s Health

Fans of Bollywood’s veteran actor Govinda are deeply concerned about his health. After recent worries surrounding the conditions of Dharmendra and Prem Chopra, reports have now emerged that Govinda was hospitalised late on November 11, 2025 (Tuesday night) at CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai.

Govinda Collapsed at Home

According to media reports, Govinda suddenly fainted at his home late on November 11. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. His close friend and legal advisor Lalit Bindal confirmed the news in a conversation with NDTV.

Govinda Undergoing Treatment at Hospital

Lalit Bindal shared more details, saying, “Govinda fainted late at night. After consulting doctors over the phone, some medication was given to him. However, when there was no improvement, he was taken to the hospital around 1 a.m., where he was admitted to the emergency ward.”

Hospital sources have revealed that several medical tests have been conducted, and doctors are now awaiting the reports. So far, no official statement has been issued by the actor’s team regarding his condition.

Govinda Was Injured by a Gunshot in October 2024

As per reports, Govinda suffered an accidental gunshot wound in October 2024. The incident occurred when a bullet was accidentally fired from his licensed revolver, injuring his leg. At that time as well, he was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu.

Govinda underwent surgery after being kept in the ICU, and the bullet was successfully removed. Speaking to the media back then, the actor had said:

“I was preparing to leave for a show in Kolkata early in the morning, around 5 a.m. My revolver slipped from my hand and went off accidentally. I was shocked to see blood flowing rapidly from my leg.”

Govinda Recently Visited Dharmendra at the Hospital

In recent weeks, Govinda had become active again on social media and in his professional commitments. Just a few days ago, he was seen visiting Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital, where he appeared to be in good health.

He also made a recent appearance as a special guest on a dance reality show. Meanwhile, his relationship with his wife Sunita Ahuja has frequently made headlines. Recently, Sunita commented in an interview about Govinda’s religious habits, prompting the actor to clarify his stance publicly and issue an apology.
