The controversy surrounding Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming film Ghooskhor Pandit continues to escalate. Objecting to the film’s title, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a strict warning to the makers. The organisation stated that the title is offensive and hurts the sentiments of a particular community.

Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster film Man Shankar Varaprasad Garu is set to premiere on ZEE5. Sharing the update, the makers wrote, “Arriving on February 11! The biggest announcement so far. The mega victorious blockbuster will stream exclusively on ZEE5.” The film stars Nayanthara, Catherine Tresa, Zarina Wahab, Harsh Vardhan, and Abhinav Gomatam, with a special cameo by Venkatesh Daggubati.

According to a report by Variety India, Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen together in director Amit Ravindernath Sharma’s next film. The untitled project promises a fresh blend of romance and comedy and will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal under the Vermillion World banner in collaboration with Jio Studios. Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is one of the most anticipated films of 2026. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is slated for release on March 19. Reports suggest that the makers have struck a major deal for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana distribution rights. KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations have partnered with Dil Raju-led SVC Cinemas for a deal worth ₹120 crore.

Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane’s film Sanam Teri Kasam was originally released in 2016 and received a mixed response. However, its theatrical re-release in 2025 turned out to be a massive success, earning over ₹15 crore in just three days. Marking the film’s 10-year anniversary, producer Deepak Mukut confirmed that Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is officially in the works.

According to Sacnilk, the crime-thriller Vadh 2 earned only ₹50 lakh on its opening day. The film revolves around a murder mystery and stars Neena Gupta, Sanjay Mishra, Kumud Mishra, Yogita Bihani, and Akshay Dogra in key roles. The film’s estimated budget is around ₹25 crore, including promotional expenses.

The film adaptation of the popular TV show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain has also had a disappointing start, earning just ₹25 lakh on its first day. The movie features the same cast as the television series. While the show enjoys massive popularity, the film failed to replicate the same magic at the box office. Trade reports estimate its budget to be between ₹8–10 crore.

According to Sacnilk, Mardaani 3 earned ₹1.75 crore on its eighth day, slightly lower than its seventh-day collection of ₹1.85 crore. The film’s earnings have dipped within its first week, with the total collection now standing at ₹28.05 crore. Rani Mukerji’s film is expected to rely on the weekend to boost its numbers.

On its 15th day, Border 2 collected ₹2.85 crore, down from ₹3.35 crore on Thursday. The film’s total box office collection currently stands at ₹297.25 crore. Although it has not officially entered the ₹300 crore club yet, the makers recently claimed that the film has crossed the ₹300 crore mark at the Indian box office
