In an interview with Variety India, Ram Charan and Upasana shared that they have named their son Shivram and their daughter Anveera Devi. Speaking about the decision, Ram Charan said, “Naming our children was an extremely personal and spiritual decision for us. Upasana and I discussed it in detail, but our parents played an important role throughout this journey. Our son’s name Shivram represents two eternal ideals, while Anveera Devi symbolizes boundless courage and divine feminine power.”
According to Pinkvilla, citing a report by Valai Pechu, superstar Rajinikanth will reportedly receive a staggering ₹225 crore for a co-lead role in the film tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 174 X KH238’. The project will see him reunite with Kamal Haasan. Although the reported fee has not been officially confirmed by the makers, the figures have sparked massive discussion on social media.
The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to filmmaker Vikram Bhatt and his wife Shwetambari Bhatt in a ₹30 crore fraud case. While hearing their plea challenging the Rajasthan Police’s arrest, the apex court ordered their immediate release and also made sharp observations regarding the manner in which the police action was carried out.
As previously reported, a major OTT platform reportedly offered a hefty sum to Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda for exclusive rights to stream their wedding video. The film was released in December 2025, while its sequel, ‘Dhurandhar 2’, is scheduled to release on March 19.
According to Hindustan Times, Sony Pictures has announced the cast for ‘The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event’, and Farhan Akhtar will be part of the project. He will portray legendary Indian classical musician Pandit Ravi Shankar, who hosted The Beatles during their visit to India in the 1970s. This marks Farhan’s first international film. Previously, he made a cameo appearance in the American TV series Ms. Marvel.
According to Sacnilk, Vadh 2 earned ₹17 lakh on its seventh day, compared to ₹25 lakh on its sixth day. The film’s total collection now stands at ₹3.42 crore. The murder mystery stars Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra, along with Kumud Mishra, Yogita Bihani, and Akshay Dogra in key roles. The first installment, Vadh, had received a positive response from audiences.
The film based on the popular TV serial Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain has underperformed at the box office. It collected ₹12 lakh on its seventh day, the same as its sixth-day earnings. The total collection now stands at ₹1.39 crore. The film features Aasif Sheikh, Shubhangi Atre, and Rohitash Gaud.
Mardaani 3 has completed two weeks at the box office. The film earned ₹1.1 crore on its 14th day, matching its 13th-day collection. The total box office collection has reached ₹40.90 crore. The film stars Rani Mukerji as a police officer investigating the disappearance of young girls.
Border 2 has completed 21 days in theatres. On Thursday, it earned ₹1.75 crore, the same amount it collected on Wednesday. The film’s total collection now stands at ₹317.75 crore, firmly placing it in the ₹300 crore club. While weekday earnings remain steady, the film continues to perform strongly over the weekends
