The trailer of Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta’s film Vadh 2 has been released. At 2 minutes and 21 seconds, the trailer draws attention with its blend of suspense, emotional conflict, and hidden secrets. This time, the story revolves around a missing person case, with police suspicion gradually shifting towards Shambhunath (Sanjay Mishra). The trailer also features Kumud Mishra, Shilpa Shukla, Amit K Singh, Akshay Dogra, and Yogita Bihani. The film is directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu.
Film critic Taran Ad’Adarsh has officially announced that ‘Dhamaal 4’, directed by Indresh Kumar, will now hit theatres on July 3, 2026. Earlier scheduled for June 12, 2026, the release date was shifted as the makers wanted a more auspicious day. While some fans are disappointed by the delay, many have expressed excitement. This installment will also feature Ravi Kishan.
The much-awaited film of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, earlier known as ‘VD14’, has finally received its official title — ‘Ranbali’. The makers have also unveiled the teaser and announced the release date. The film is set against the backdrop of British colonial rule in India, highlighting the cruelty faced by common people. Ranbali will release in cinemas on September 11.
Madras High Court Cancels CBFC Clearance Order for ‘Jan Nayakan’
The Madras High Court has set aside the earlier order directing the CBFC to grant a censor certificate to Jan Nayakan. The court has sent the case back for fresh hearing. This decision has come as a major setback for the filmmakers, as the previous favourable ruling has now been overturned. Notably, Jan Nayakan is believed to be Thalapathy Vijay’s final film.
Actor Varun Dhawan has landed in trouble after a video surfaced showing him performing stunts inside a Mumbai Metro coach. In the clip, Varun is seen hanging from rods and handles meant for passengers. The Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited issued a warning on X, stating that such behaviour inside metro premises is a punishable offence and could result in fines or even imprisonment.

Known for his grandeur, Sanjay Leela Bhansali designed a spectacular tableau for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Republic Day. When the ‘Bharat Gatha’ tableau rolled down Kartavya Path, it left spectators mesmerised. The display featured vintage film equipment, including a golden camera and film reels, along with a prominent “Box Office” installation. Singer Shreya Ghoshal also won hearts with her performance.
