The intense trailer of O Romeo has been released. Shahid Kapoor is seen playing a gangster who calls himself a “hero.” He brutally kills people and then breaks into dance. Along with his fierce avatar, the trailer also showcases a romantic angle with Triptii Dimri. The film also stars Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, and Farida Jalal. O Romeo is set to release on February 13.

According to India Today, Varanasi may release on April 9, 2027, coinciding with Ram Navami. A clip from the film has surfaced showing visuals from Treta Yuga, Lanka Nagaram, 7200 BC, including scenes of Hanuman and others engaged in battle. The video has strengthened rumors of a Ram Navami 2027 release. Reports also suggest that the makers may officially announce the release date on January 26.

As per reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Border 2 with a U/A 13+ rating, without any cuts. This means the film is suitable for viewers aged 13 and above. The certificate reveals that the film’s runtime is 3 hours and 16 minutes, making it one of the longest war films in Bollywood.

After music maestro AR Rahman’s statement on “communal discrimination,” he has faced backlash. Reacting to this, Anup Jalota said in a video, “AR Rahman was earlier a Hindu and later embraced Islam. He worked hard, gained fame, and earned immense respect. If he believes that he is not getting work in films because he is Muslim, then he should convert back to Hinduism.”

The release of Thalapathy Vijay’s final film Jana Nayakan remains uncertain. On January 20, the Madras High Court heard arguments related to the film and the CBFC. After several hours of hearing, the court reserved its verdict without announcing the next date, meaning the decision will be delivered later.
