A Mumbai city civil court has dismissed a petition filed against the release of the film O Romeo. The petitioner, Sanovar, had filed an interim application against producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director Vishal Bhardwaj, and others, alleging that the film was based on his father’s life, as mentioned in the book Mafia: Queens of Mumbai. He claimed that the film’s release would harm his late father’s privacy and that of his family.
