The trailer of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar has finally been released today, Tuesday. Along with Ranveer, the film also stars Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal in powerful roles.

Ranveer Singh has been in the spotlight lately because of Dhurandhar. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the trailer was originally scheduled to release on November 12, but the date was postponed due to the Delhi bomb blast. Fans were eagerly waiting, and their wait finally ended today. So how is the trailer? Let’s take a look.

Arjun Rampal as an ISI Terrorist

The trailer begins with Arjun Rampal in a gripping scene. A voiceover follows:

“After the 1971 war, Pakistan was surrounded by an atmosphere of deep sorrow. I was six years old, listening to the radio. At that moment, Zia-ul-Haq said something that became etched in my blood—‘Bleed India with a thousand cuts.’ I will destroy that nation completely.”

Arjun Rampal plays Major Iqbal from the ISI, a man so powerful that nothing in Pakistani politics can move without his approval.

Ranveer–Madhavan Set Out to Defeat Pakistan’s Plans

The trailer has been released on Jio Studios’ YouTube channel, and the film is said to be inspired by true events. Soon after, Ranveer Singh and R. Madhavan make their entry. The duo is seen planning strategies to foil Pakistan’s conspiracies and eliminate terrorism from its roots.

Ranveer’s character heads out on a high-stakes mission. Madhavan tells him:

“Sir, to break someone’s jaw, you first need to clench your fist. If they even dream against India, they should see us sitting inside those dreams.”

Madhavan’s character is reportedly inspired by India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, while Ranveer Singh plays a RAW agent.

When Will ‘Dhurandhar’ Release?

The next major appearance in the trailer is Akshaye Khanna, who plays the deadly dacoit Rehman. His fierce and intense look stands out. Sanjay Dutt then appears as Chaudhary Aslam, also known as The Jinn. The trailer suggests that Aslam is so dangerous, people call him “the offspring of both the devil and the jinn.”

The trailer ends with Ranveer Singh delivering a powerful line:

“If you’re done bursting your firecrackers, should I start the real blast?”

This is followed by high-octane action sequences featuring Ranveer.

Overall, the trailer is impressive and the storyline looks engaging. However, the loud background music throughout slightly spoils the experience.
