Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh visited the popular New York restaurant Bungalow, owned by Chef Vikas Khanna. During their visit, Deepika learned how to make modaks from Vikas Khanna and tried her hand at preparing them herself for the first time. Vikas later fed modaks to Ranveer Singh and congratulated him on the massive success of Dhurandhar. The video was shared by Vikas Khanna on his Instagram account.

Deepika also fed the modaks she made to Chef Vikas Khanna, who then shared his feedback. Posting the video on Instagram, Vikas wrote,
“This is the most auspicious ending to 2025. A new beginning in honor of India. Team Bungalow was privileged to celebrate Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone with their very first modaks. All our guests at Bungalow today will enjoy pomegranate and cardamom modaks to welcome 2026. Celebrating Dhurandhar, which is outperforming every film worldwide.”

Dhurandhar’s Box Office Dominance

Dhurandhar has earned ₹712.25 crore in India within 26 days of its release, while its worldwide collection has reached ₹1,101 crore. The film has become the highest-grossing movie of the year and is also the biggest hit of Ranveer Singh’s career to date.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone remained in the spotlight throughout the year due to reports of her exit from two major projects. On one hand, she reportedly stepped away from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, and on the other, she was also said to be dropped from the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD
