Fans have been eagerly waiting for Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film ‘O Romeo’, which is set to release in just a few days. However, ahead of its theatrical debut, the film has now reached the courtroom. On Monday, Sanobar Shaikh, daughter of gangster Hussain Ustra, filed a petition in a Mumbai civil court seeking a stay on the release of the film.

Claim of Unauthorized Biopic

In her plea, Sanobar Shaikh alleged that O Romeo is an unauthorized biographical portrayal of her late father and that he has been misrepresented in the film. Hussain Shaikh was widely known as Hussain Ustra. Sanobar has filed a civil lawsuit against producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director Vishal Bhardwaj, and journalist-author Hussain Zaidi. The matter is scheduled to be heard on February 6.

Film Based on Hussain Zaidi’s Book

The film is reportedly based on Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Hussain Ustra in the movie. O Romeo is slated for a theatrical release on February 13. On Monday, the makers also released a new song titled ‘Ishq Ka Fever’, sung by Arijit Singh. The song holds special significance as Arijit recently announced his retirement from playback singing, making this track a memorable gift for his fans.

Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s Chemistry Stands Out

The song has been composed by Vishal Bhardwaj, with lyrics penned by Gulzar. It opens with a powerful line delivered by Farida Jalal, which gradually transitions into a soft, romantic melody.
