Dharmendra Prayer Meet in Delhi: Bollywood’s Dream Girl Hema Malini is set to organise a prayer meet in Delhi in honour of the late legendary actor Dharmendra. Several prominent political leaders are expected to attend the ceremony.

Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away on 24 November, leaving behind not only his grieving family but also millions of fans who adored him. The demise of Bollywood’s “He-Man,” at the age of 89, created an emotional void across the nation. After a series of condolence gatherings held in Mumbai, his wife Hema Malini is now preparing to host a larger prayer meet in Delhi, which is likely to see the presence of family members and several political dignitaries.

Special Prayer Meet to be Held in Delhi

Hema Malini will organise a special prayer service for Dharmendra’s soul at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi on 11 December 2025. The event, scheduled from 4 pm to 6 pm, will be attended by their daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, former son-in-law Bharat Takhtani, and son-in-law Vaibhav Vohra. According to reports, several senior political leaders based in Delhi are also expected to arrive to pay their respects. Prior to this, Hema Malini had organised a Gita Path at her Mumbai residence, which was attended by family members and Dharmendra’s close friends.

Dharmendra’s Birth Anniversary Also Celebrated

Dharmendra was to celebrate his 90th birthday on 8 December. His sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, together with fans gathered outside their residence, celebrated his birth anniversary as a tribute. Their emotional interaction with fans quickly went viral on social media.

Salman Khan Turns Emotional Remembering Dharmendra

During the Bigg Boss 19 finale, Salman Khan became emotional while remembering Dharmendra. He shared that the late actor loved him like a son. Salman broke down on stage as he spoke of the grief he felt after Dharmendra’s passing. He also revealed that Dharmendra and his own mother share the same birthday, and that Dharmendra passed away just days before his father Salim Khan’s birthday.

Dharmendra’s Final Film ‘Ikkis’ to Release Soon
